- START: Insert the plug end into the vehicles USB port
- OPEN: White backlight will turn on, the red and green LED’s flash, display will read 0.0 V—red and green lights continue to flash until a good ground or voltage reading at the tip is found
- POWER: Touch the probe to a terminal, wire or switch, the Red LED illuminates and the LCD will display the measured circuit voltage
- GROUND: Touch the probe to a terminal, wire or chassis, the Green LED illuminates and the LCD will display “gnd.v” for an acceptable ground or a reading for an unacceptable ground
