Specifications
The YT-73084 universal meter with an automatic range for each measurement allows you to perform basic and advanced electrical measurements. An undoubted advantage is the possibility of using an additional accessory in the form of measuring clamps, e.g. YT-73090, to measure currents of high values.
BASIC MEASUREMENTS
the result taking into account the measurement error for the DC voltage measurement indication: 12V = 12 ± 0.146V
result taking into account the measurement error for the indication of alternating current intensity measurement: 8A = 8 ± 0.34A*
The table with the resolution and accuracy for a given measurement can be found in the instruction manual.
*The YT-73084 meter does not have the true rms measurement function, therefore the above result is the real RMS value of the AC voltage only for the correct sinusoidal waveform.

- Example of Accuracy Determination for AC Voltage Measurement. Calculations for the measurement result: 235V
- the measurement accuracy of the YT-73084 meter for this range is: ±(1.2% + 5), resolution 1V
- Calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 1%) + 5 x resolution
- calculation: (235 x 1.2%) + 5 x 1 = 2.82 + 5 = 7.82V
- Result taking into account the measurement error for the indication 235V = 235 ± 7.82V*

BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS
- AUTO - automatic adjustment of the measurement range. When measuring unknown values with a meter with a manual range change using the knob, measurements should be made sequentially from the largest range to the range giving the most accurate result - otherwise you risk damaging the device. However, in the case of a multimeter with the AUTO function, it is enough to make one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. The meter starts up in AUTO mode by default
- RANGE - manual change of the measurement range. A useful function when checking many of the same components with a known value, e.g. a series of resistors. Manual range setting will reduce the time of such measurements significantly
- FUNC. - changing the measurement mode, e.g. changing the diode test to a circuit continuity test, changing the current measurement from AC to DC
- DATA HOLD [H] - saving the currently measured value on the display
- MAX[H] - keeping the maximum value from the current measurement on the display
- LCD display, maximum displayed score: 1999
- screen backlight
- sound signal in the circuit continuity test for resistance below 30Ω
- Diode and continuity tests can be enabled separately
- set includes test probes, temperature measurement probe, adapter for transistor test
- design with overload protection for low current measurements, no fuse for current measurement up to 10A
- housing made of ABS plastic + so-called holster, i.e. a rubber casing protecting the meter against mechanical damage
- automatic shutdown of the meter after 15 minutes
- low battery indicator
- power supply: three 1.5V(AAA) batteries
